Students in the spring 2023 cohort of Jayhawk Consulting speak during Startup Jayhawk 2023

Jayhawk Consulting

Jayhawk Consulting helps clients grow through data analysis and project development and offers KU students experiential learning by working for real clients.

Program overview

The newly revamped Jayhawk Consulting launched its pilot program in spring 2023.

Each semester a group of students will provide advisory and consulting services to clients from the Lawrence community and region, working with faculty advisor and lecturer Will Katz. Students will meet with clients and potential clients to uncover needs and then work collaboratively to assess projects and deliverables.

Applications for Jayhawk Consulting will launch during the spring semester at employment.ku.edu for the following academic year’s positions.

Jayhawk Consulting is a staff and faculty overseen team of degree seeking KU students who work part-time as university employees to serve local businesses and regional community organizations. Our goal is for students to learn and gain valuable first-hand experience and for Jayhawk Consulting clients to be better off after having engaged with our team.
